Happy Holidays

Well ... the StarJam year is almost at an end and what a big year it has been.

We said goodbye in February to a beautiful guy called DJ. DJ, wherever you are, you are always in our thoughts.

We said hello to heaps of new Jammers, two new staff members, a new board member, a bunch of new volunteers & tutors, loads of new supporters & some new Jambassadors.

We Jammed thousands of people at events like the Halberg Sports Awards, the Grocery Charity Ball, the Barfoot & Thompson annual conference, Chelsea Sugar's 125th Birthday & more...

We made the decision to take StarJam to Hamilton in 2010.

We appointed our first ever International Jambassador.

Julie won an Attitude Award for her commitment to the community & celebrated her 10th wedding anniversary with Roy.

We celebrated one year in our new building in Greenlane and StarJam's 7th birthday.

A huge thank you to all those in the StarJam community for helping us to get where we are. We simply couldn't do it without your support.

Welcome to our new site and our new way of giving you all the latest happenings from StarJam.

Chk out our CEO's brother Ross who picked up an Attitude Award on her behalf last week. Go Julz!

Our bestest news is that StarJam is a semi-finalist in the 2010 NZer of the Year awards in the Community Organisation category! More info on this as it comes to hand.

Also we heard Kelly Clarkson is coming to town so we got the Velvet Vocals to beg her to come sing with them! Chk it out!
