Big Week Ahead

Hey Folks ... for the 9-5ers in the upper part of the North Island a three day weekend is about to begin!

Big week ahead in the world of StarJam ... we have the gala dinner for the 2010 NZer of the Year Awards on Wednesday night with the Dynamic Drummers and the Velvets performing and us a finalist in the Community category, back to school for many of our crew, Jammer Sian Thomas is being interviewed for the North Shore Times and Jessie is off up to Whangarei on Thursday to check in with the Whangarei gang.

If you are traveling this weekend, please do so safely and remember to keep your ears to the ground for prospective Jammers, tutors and volunteers for our move to Hamilton in Term 2.

VVs on the TV!

Prime TV turned up today to catch the StarJam team in action. Jono and the Velvet Vocals working out the pipes before the performance on Awards night on Feb 3rd.

Everyone's very excited about this finalist thing. Roll on the 2010 NZer of the Year Awards!!

Well people it's official.

StarJam is a finalist ... yes a FINALIST in the Community Category of the 2010 NZer of the Year Awards. Check it out

But wait there's more! We have been asked to perform at the awards ceremony as well!

We have asked the Dynamic Drummers and the Velvet Vocals to help us out this time around and we are all STOKED at the opportunity.

We always seem to be thanking you guys and once again ... thank you MUCH to everyone who makes StarJam such a force to be reckoned with.
