Meet more of our Buskers!

As promised! (Finally heh) A little bit more about the Buskers taking part in Money For Jam. We now have a whopping great big 23 groups and solo acts! And we are thrilled that these fantastic people have stepped up to help support StarJam and even win some awesome prizes in the process. So here goes, from where we left off last time ...

Meet The Velvet Vocals who are the first group of StarJam STARS to take part in our busking challenge. They describe themselves as a cool group that write lots of their own songs and also believe that they are pretty Smooth. I have to tell you, I have watched their video and I have to whole heartedly agree!

This team consists of Bonnie Pascoe, Grace Lee, Katie Nash, Moana Mani, Amy Wootton, Jessica Wootton, Gavin Allpress and Olivia Shivas who are all very talented.

Check out their team profile here, watch their video and most of all open your wallets in support.

Second on the list for today are Meadowbank Buskers This is a group from Meadowbank school, who are delightfully fabulous. They consist of the school's Ukulele Group and Rock Band and are Jamming for StarJam both with enthusiasm and talent. They must be because right now, as I speak they are IN THE LEAD!!!

The Meadowbank Buskers are Jamming for Amy Hall, Amy has some awesome dance moves, loves swimming, helping her fellow Jammers with their dance moves, and going to Unitec.

Thirdly we have The Ponsonby Pipers Who are sisters, Gabriella who is 7 and Valentina who is 10.
They say that they love to play music together and are hoping that by playing for Money for Jam, other children will be able to have as much fun as they do with their music. What a beautiful thing for two young girls to do for another group of children.

The Ponsonby Pipers are Jamming for Sarah Hall, Sarah is really good at English and Health, and loves going to the movies.

So please check out The Ponsonby Pipers and help them get ahead of the game but donating!

fourth on our list for today is Jamie and Bianca. They are cousins who list Matt Nathinoson, John Mayer, Jamie Cullum, The Cranberries, Gin Wigmore, Radiohead, Florence and the Machine, Regina Spektor, Weezer, Joe Brooks, Band of Horses, Queens of the Stoneage, Temper Trap, Kristen Macdonald, Ingrid Michealson, Jason Maraz, Addle, Paramore, The Libertines, Sarah Bareills, The Middle East, Artisan Guns, Guy Sebastian, The Fray andJack Johnson as what they are into and what they listen too 24/7, and who aspire to be like. Now, is it bad that I acutally have only heard of only a fraction of them? But they must be good because these girls ROCK!
They have been playing music together for as long as they can remember, playing guitar, ukulele, piano, bass and singing anything they can get there hands on.
play covers, and have recently started writing our own music. They would like to make a difference, and say that they live for music.

Jamie and Bianca are Jamming for Jesse Coles-Hart. Jesse loves reading, going to school and going to StarJam.

Help these girls make a difference but checking out their page and donating!

The Three Musketeers Fifth and final for today is The Three Musketeers. Laine, Kirsten and MaryAnne simply say they are 'Very Groovy' and from the look of them in this photo I'd say yes girls, you do look like you could groove! We can't wait too see what you can do.

The Three Musketeers are Jamming for Ashley Phillips. Ashley loves to sing! She is also a member of StarJam's Central Rocking Hip Hop group. She loves ALL movies.

Check out The Three Musketeers Team page and donate to a great cause.
